Dry and chapped lips are something you don't have to worry about this winter season – not with my homemade and Christmas scented Lip Balm and Lip Scrub! Both of these DIY beauty products are very easy to make and they are also a great DIY Christmas Gift Idea for your friends and family.
Um trockene und spröde Lippen brauchst du dich diesen Winter nicht zu sorgen, denn heute zeige ich dir, wie du ein weihnachtliches Lippenpeeling und einen feuchtigkeitsspendenden Lippenbalsam im Handumdrehen selber machen kannst. Außerdem sind diese selbstgemachten Lippen-Produkte eine tolle Geschenkidee für Freunde und Familie.
Ingredients for the DIY Lip Scrub and Lip Balm
Lip Scrub
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 4 drops of pomegranate oil
- 1/2 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp orange peel powder
Lip Balm
- 2 tsp shea butter
(in the picture I used only 1, but I ended up needing more)
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/4 tsp orange peel powder
For both of these homemade beauty products you simply need to mix all of their ingredients in a bowl. I actually reused two empty LUSH lip scrub containers for mine and added some festive Christmas stickers to the lids.
These DIY lip products are both very effective and hydrating, leaving your lips feeling soft and thoroughly moisturized. Since they are made with orange peel powder, they have a warm scent, which makes them ideal for the winter season.
If you can not find vanilla sugar in your grocery store, you can just use regular sugar and add ground vanilla or a drop of vanilla extract to it.

Zutaten für das DIY Lippen-Peeling und den DIY Lippenbalsam:
Lippen-Peeling:
- 1 Päckchen Vanille Zucker
- 1 TL Kokosöl
- 4 Tropen Granatapfelkernöl
- 1/2 TL Honig
- 1/2 TL gemahlene Orangenschalen
Lippenbalsam:
- 2 TL Sheabutter
(Im Foto sieht man nur einen, ich habe dann noch einen hinzugefügt)
- 1 TL Honig
- 1/4 TL gemahlene Orangenschalen
Die Zutaten für beide Pflegeprodukte müssen lediglich gut miteinander vermischt werden. Meine Aufbewahrungsgläschen sind übrigens zwei wiederverwendete LUSH Lip Scrub Behältern. Ich habe meine zusätzlich mit weihnachtlichen Stickern beklebt.
Das Lippen-Peeling und der -Balsam sind beide äußerst feuchtigkeitsspendend und verleihen dir zarte und geschmeidige Lippen. Und weil beide mit geriebenen Orangenschalen hergestellt werden, haben sie einen sinnlichen Weihnachtsduft.
Übrigens kann man für dieses DIY Projekt auch herkömmlichen Zucker verwenden und diesem etwas gemahlene Vanille oder Vanilleextrakt beifügen.
